Style Loves

Fall is most definitely my favourite season, but there's always something so gorgeously fresh about spring. It's full of life and colour, flowers and sheerness- well, this spring will be for me anyways!

I've been quite smitten with the following photos for a while now, and fully intend to bring them into my life any ways I can. I may not have a trip to France planned again anytime soon (Le Poo.) but there's no reason I can't dress like I live in Paris!
Loving this sheer shirtdress (especially with the many braided belts!) the more I look at it, the more I want it.
Confetti System's cool designs seem to be following me around the internet, and I can't complain! I desperately want to recreate this beauty in my (soon to be found) new apartment. But for now I will settle with just using this photo as inspiration for the new header I did the other day!
C'est parfait! It speaks for itself. J'adore.
I just love how rockstar (and beige!) these shoes are, especially with such an old school and lady-like outfit.
Must. Learn. Calligraphy.
Yes, this is absolutely necessary now I do believe!

What are you crushing on for spring?

Masscob- Love!

Oh boy, I'm just throwing my love around these days... want to meet my latest obsession?
I stumbled on the clothing line Masscob while flipping through last month's Lucky mag and had to look them up to have a closer peek. I was not disappointed in the least! Actually, I was completely smitten and decided that I needed to base my spring wardrobe on the looks. So I made some notes while making my shopping list! Enjoy!
Happy Tuesday lovelies!

Little Lion Man

Little Lion Man- Mumford & Sons

This is my "Art Student" outfit, it's all loose and flowing on top and streamlined on the bottom. For some reason this silhouette, paired with a beret, translates to an Art Student to me... or maybe I'm just too excited for my France trip (less than a month!!!!) and just want to be more Franglish!
Top: Winners, Leggings: Joe, Beret and Pashmina: Le Chateau, Camel Wedges: Franco Sarto, Necklace: Marc Jacobs, Turquoise Ring: Aldo

Last weekend was Canadian Thanksgiving, plus some prep for Halloween! My dad made his first Thanksgiving meal and it all turned out perfect (with a healthy dose of help from my mum...) it really was a perfect day though and a perfect time to think of everything that I'm thankful for! You can also witness my art skills below, as I maul the poor pumpkin (it definitely did not turn out. Though it was scary... just because it looked like someone had repeatedly stabbed it!)
I hope your weekend was just as nice!

The Dog Days of Summer

I often find it hard to live in the moment, my mind is constantly running ahead of me trying to imagine the future and planning things. Or stuck in the past, hashing it out and reliving old memories. I know this isn't healthy (and hey, realizing this is the first step...right??) but I guess I chose the right profession. The fashion world is always dissecting past trends/eras and then pushing the "new" season's must-haves waaay before they're actually wearable.

With summer coming to an end its so easy for me to get swept up in the excitement of fall (mmm... pumpkin-spice lattes, vibrant orange leaves...boots!!) and it really is my favorite season so I always look forward to its appearance. But it's also followed closely by winter. Boo. So I'm trying to live in the fashion moment of right now; The hot, balmy, lazy days of mid-august. To get myself excited about this present state I've rounded up a few gorgeous, languid photos filled with beautiful neutrals, interesting accessories, and that certain je ne sais quoi that happens when the temperature sky rockets.
