Wear and Tear- Pete Yorn and Scarlett Johanssen
We're getting our first snow storm today, it's crazy that just a few days ago it was an indian summer! Because of the upcoming freeze I've been wearing layers upon layers, trying to stay warm and cozy. This shawl is perfect to throw on top of pretty much any outfit I've tried (it looks ravishing with my pjs!) so it hasn't spent much time off my shoulders.
In honour of my "hundred" list I'm wearing lipstick! Eek. I adore the stuff, it's so womanly and elegant, but I feel so ostentatious when I wear it. Though I did go kinda loud with the poppy colour! But after seeing so much of this colour on the runways I'm kind of obsessed. Maybe I'll leave it for special occasions, doing the dishes and Halloween.
And now I think I'm going to curl up on the couch with some sticky toffee pudding (!) and probably fall asleep in 15 min. I think the caffine intake is going to have to increase if I'm going to keep going at this pace!
How's your week going? And has anyone thought of a good costume yet??
Halloweek is here!

Oh lordy, stay warm with that crazy snowstorm on the way! I'd be mighty unhappy if we got here on the East Coast! Love the plaid scarf - looks cute and adds an extra layer of warmth.
ReplyDeleteaaahhh i've been lacking outfit posts due to this weather.. by the time i get home, it's too cloudy and rainy to take outdoor shots!! aaaahhh.... good for you for still being able to squeeze one amidst the snow storm!
ReplyDeleteloving the lipstick by the way.. nice touch of color! :D
You look so friggin' cute!! I love this outfit - love those boots, and the shawl looks so cozy & cute! And you are rockin' the poppy lip! I always feel a little weird/insecure when I wear lipstick but I have been meaning to try to wear it more, too! Did you get much snow?? That's crazy!
ReplyDeleteNice outfit, I love the shawl, it does look cozy. I also like the poppy lipstick, you wear it well. I never feel totally comfortable in lipstick either.
ReplyDeleteThis is so great - I love the layering of the sweater, belt and blackwatch!! The boots just seal the deal!!

ReplyDeleteSnow storm??? Oh no...is it that time of year already? No snow here in Toronto yet...phew.
ReplyDeleteLove the plaid!
I think you look lovely in lipstick. It doesn't have to be ostentatious when you keep everything else casual, like you do.
