A simple little shift dress, that I picked up 3 years ago and have just found again (tucked away with the skirt from the last post!). It was mighty comfy today and made even better with my current obsession of a blouse.

Dress and Silver Ring- Suzy Shier
Blouse- Thrifted
Pumps- Le Chateau
Belt- Gap
Socks and Cuff- ??
So the photography class I was supposed to take didn't pan out. Bummer. But the silver lining is that I have a very awesome friend who introduced me to the delights of youtube photography lessons! We spent some time learning about all the different buttons and shutter speeds and such. There's still so much more to learn, but at least I'm a bit further ahead now! Below is a photo he took while the shutter was left open. Yup, that's me waving my cell phone in the air... I only wish I'd written my name. Lol... next time I guess!

Oooh that is the perfect little shift dress. It looks so effortlessly chic with the blouse!! That sucks about your photography class. Just like the time we tried to take French eh?!?!
ReplyDeleteI want to take a drawing class and possibly take up knitting once again. My sewing machine is also dying to be dusted off and I could seriously benefit from brushing up on my skills. xx
Very cute dress here m'lady! Also I'm a huge fan of the grey socks with the black shoes! Something I need to try now!! Something I want to learn this fall?? haha to stop worrying! I have a bad tendency to worry about things I shouldn't...pretty simple but easier said than done! lol

It's a classic! I love the monochrome on other people... but it never quite works on me. Possibly because of the hair. All the same, you rock it jazzy ♥
