The Dog Days Are Over- Florence and the Machine
This past week I was house sitting for my parents; keeping the vandals away (racoons), feeding the cats and raiding my mum's vintage collection. Not too shabby. She didn't keep a ton, which is such a shame as she had some amazing things and is my exact size. Geesh. I did find this fuzzy mohair pencil skirt and the brocade scarf though and together they made a very cozy-glam look. Perfect for the beginning of fall.

ReplyDeleteGreat scarf! =)
ReplyDeleteAS IF you and your mom are the same size! Lucky you (despite there not being much left in her vintage collection). Still, when you go to have babies you will thank her for those excellent (slim) genes!! ;)
ReplyDeleteThe vintage scarf is so sweet. Have a great FANCY evening tonight!

ReplyDeleteOooh I love digging through my Mom's closet! Your scarf is gorgeous. Maybe you should convince your mom to let you keep it as a birthday gift ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you didn't have to battle with any of those bearcoons that Aaron and I encountered at Spruce Woods! Did I tell you they came back again this year to torment me? It's like they remembered that we were the idiots that drank too much and left steak out ha!
I'm sure you had a fabulous time last night. Hopefully you took lots of pics that we'll get to see very soon! xx
I am in love with that skirt!! Aren't moms just fabulous for hidden vintage finds?? lol. My mom is a lot like yours in the fact that she didn't save tons of things and I am the same size she was in her 20s!
