Don't Do Me Like That

It's still all gloomy outside so I put on a simple outfit, with some of my favorite stand-bys. You can't really go wrong with a black scoop neck or a camel skirt. To add a bit more me to the ensemble (and because I tend to feel naked with out my so called "bling") I added some stand-out accessories; an over-sized ring, a turquoise feather necklace and a nice flower in the hair! I guess the polka dot tights and strappy shoes also make this normal outfit more "me". Ah... the power of some great accessories!

I didn't really get up to much in this outfit either, just working in the office and a quick run to the library. I just feel funny not getting pulled together and dressed for the day though. I guess I chose the right profession then!

Lovely Thing: A weekend of girliness with some awesome friends! This includes a trip to "the City" (pfft... I'm so small town!)a day of shopping and supper out! I can't wait!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend too!

p.s I'm thinking about finally switching up the hair... any ideas?? This is just my natural hair colour and it hasn't been cut in about 6 months (I'm kinda low-key with it). I don't look good with extreme colours (black, bleach blond etc.) but am up for a change! Any help is appreciated! xx

  2. You look adorable! I drool over your Franco Sarto shoes every time I see them. I've been really into Jessica Alba's cute bob lately as far as new haircuts go. I think it would look great on you!

  3. Camel skirt...envy. Finding a good skirt is difficult!

You can always let the sun put highlights in your hair! I used to put lemon juice in mine to bleach it a tiny tiny bit...and a fresh summer haircut always feels good. :)

  4. Love how the dots on your tights pick up the buttons on your skirt.

  5. Love the buttons on this skirt. I'm with Emma Clark on this one, nice touch with the dotted hose!

  9. You look so chic! This is so classy, and the headpiece gives you a little 1920s flair :) Love the style of those shoes and I'm wanting a pair like that!
I've got to ask--how do you get your inside pictures to come out so nice and clear? Mine are usually sort of grainy looking.

    Anyhow, very nice! :D
