I Turn My Camera On

Woke up to a blanket of snow this morning which completely threw me for a loop, I mean my hedge had just turned this fluorescent green and to see it with this pretty coating of white fluff looked surreal. I pulled the handy winter jacket back out and have been piling on the scarves ever since. Welcome to Manitoba people, the weather changes faster than a werewolf at midnight. (haha!)

Dress (worn as Shirt... NOT comfy): Lovely Girl
Shorts and Earrings: Le Chateau
Cami and Tights: Joe
Shoes: Franco Sarto
Turquoise Bracelet: Stella & Dot
Assorted Bangles

I'm loving how much freedom I have in my wardrobe now! Ever since starting this blog I've been wearing what I actually want to wear not just what's "acceptable" in my small little town. It's not even like I'm really pushing the envelope, but I guess because I'm not wearing lulus and uggs I'm an odd duck. I'm starting to be happy and embrace this fact though. There's a nice freedom that comes with accepting yourself, flaws, mistakes and all.

P.s Below is the package that I put together for an art exchange I did a few weeks ago. I can't show what's inside as the girl hasn't received it yet and that would ruin the surprise, but I'm deeply in love with pretty packaging and had to show off this little dude!

Thanks for letting me in on the
"Dress worn as a shirt" I was wondering if people were cutting the dress or waht? It must be a mini, because it's looking smooth!
