Time to Pretend

So, as you can tell, I felt like being bright and flowery yesterday! I chalk it up to my desperate desire to have a garden (see the mini one below!). I also noticed that I hadn't worn pants/jeans in a while and figured that I should mix things up. I really do like jeans, I just don't get inspired by them so I don't wear them that often.

I don't really know what's going on for the top of this outfit! I guess I was in an accessorizing mood and just really enjoy mixing prints, I'm still on the fence about it. I do enjoy how cheerful it made me feel though!

(I am SO excited about my herbs!! I have also started to grow strawberries! Yes!)

So this is so far behind the times but I'm going to see Alice in Wonderland tonight! I've been wanting to see it since before it came out but I guess the stars didn't align until today! I'm sure I'll be completely inspired and you can expect a bow in my hair and a pinafore dress tomorrow!

  1. Your bright top is so pretty! And I love your little garden. I've always wanted a garden too, but I live in an apartment and don't have a yard. Maybe one day...

  2. I love the shoes! They look like one of the pairs I posted today. Your blog is great!

  3. Cute - LOVE flowery tops. The plant pots are a great touch ;)

  6. I love this outfit! The top with the accessories looks awesome, seriously. More layering and accessories is definitely I want to work on.
