Notion

As I write this there are actual big, fluffy, white snowflakes falling... was it really just the other day that I was comfy outside? It's actually quite pretty though and it makes you want to curl up with a blanket and a cup of tea, I have the tea already but as it's only 3pm I think I might keep up appearances for a tiny bit longer... maybe!

I actually like how this outfit worked out, and there was zero planning involved! I was cold and had been wearing my thick, warm cable knit leggings all morning so when it came time to venture outside I just grabbed some sweaters to layer for warmth and comfort (and decency!). To make it look a bit more pulled together I tied a belt on and added some much needed pattern with the scarf. Simple as pie! And I promise that I do own other shoes and not just these boots! With the snow and muck outside they're kind of perfect for now... but I will peel them off at some point!

Sweater: Joe
Tunic: Le Chateau
Leggings: Smart Set
Boots (again!): Aldo
Belt, Scarf and Bracelet (actually a Necklace): Vintage

On that note I'm going to wrap this up (short and sweet!) and leave you with some photos from the other night. Yes, that's right.... it's a fort!! A friend came over and we made a very grown-up dinner and then a super cool fort! Because, lets face it, what better thing is there to do on a Monday night? Have a lovely evening!

  3. Loooove that skinny belt. Isn't it funny how outfits can just fall together like that with no planning? This is one of my favorites!
