As I write this there are actual big, fluffy, white snowflakes falling... was it really just the other day that I was comfy outside? It's actually quite pretty though and it makes you want to curl up with a blanket and a cup of tea, I have the tea already but as it's only 3pm I think I might keep up appearances for a tiny bit longer... maybe!

I actually like how this outfit worked out, and there was zero planning involved! I was cold and had been wearing my thick, warm cable knit leggings all morning so when it came time to venture outside I just grabbed some sweaters to layer for warmth and comfort (and decency!). To make it look a bit more pulled together I tied a belt on and added some much needed pattern with the scarf. Simple as pie! And I promise that I do own other shoes and not just these boots! With the snow and muck outside they're kind of perfect for now... but I will peel them off at some point!

Sweater: Joe
Tunic: Le Chateau
Leggings: Smart Set
Boots (again!): Aldo
Belt, Scarf and Bracelet (actually a Necklace): Vintage

On that note I'm going to wrap this up (short and sweet!) and leave you with some photos from the other night. Yes, that's right.... it's a fort!! A friend came over and we made a very grown-up dinner and then a super cool fort! Because, lets face it, what better thing is there to do on a Monday night? Have a lovely evening!

(Super cool!!)

  1. I'm loving this's looks so effortlessly thrown together (which apparently it was)..but in a very together way..if that makes any sence!

  2. so cute & cozy! like the scarf & belt! and it's snowing here today, too. wishing for more sunny days!

  3. Loooove that skinny belt. Isn't it funny how outfits can just fall together like that with no planning? This is one of my favorites!

  4. GREAT scarf! And boo for snow :(

  5. So pretty! Love the big scarf, and love how you look comfy yet so pulled together!

  6. That's my kind of grown up dinner!!!!

Now I know what to do with my red skinny alligator belt... Thanks

Thanks for all your lovely comments, they never fail to make my day! xx
